RIP Coach Carnesecca

I was wrong, Pinkey only stuffed Mullin once before Mullin schooled him. Love Pinkney's reaction after Mullin scores. Sorry for poor quality

Wow, such great memories of the Mullin Days. He was fabulous. And from my neighborhood too! a few years younger than me.

Monte Thanks.

It brings to mind, why I could not get onboard with all of the harsh things people had to say about Mullin our coach, he put us on the map as far as modern era college basektball goes. That should never be forgotten.

Mullin being the ultimate New Yawk kid, had the City in the palm of his hand his years at St. John's.

Preach brother! You ain't the only one. Such an embarrassingly disgraceful chapter in the history of our fandom. Perhaps it's part of the reason we remain jinxed to this day. We don't win because we've shown that we don't deserve to win?

that would be real cool if other coaches come into CA and do the same this year
If all Big East coaches do this at our home games it would be great. All the stories from the glory days of the big east all have Looie at the center of this great fraternity of Big East coaches. On the court (and recruiting trails) fierce competitors, but off the court strong relationships and good friendships. No one represented this better than Coach C.

Opposing coaches wearing sweaters would not only be a measure of respect for Lou, but also an act that rises above basketball, and is a unifier for the league. We'll see.

It occurred to me that our current coach, Rick, is also a relationship guy who makes friends wherever he goes. Has anyone else coached 3 Big East teams? I think not.

Mel Davis 2nd team at power forward, John Warren at small forward and Glenn Williams at 2nd team shooting guard.

George Johnson over Shelton Jones-better scorer and top tier rebounder

My frame of reference is really 1981 on as a young fan, so thank you for bringing up the guys from 1960/1970’s i also took into account nba/aba careers as well. I love this debate please feel free to put in your top 2 teams with 3-4 honorable mentions.
