Transfer Portal

No surprise here - AJ getting a lot of attention in the portal

G, St. John’s: At 6-foot-5 with length and a body to keep building on, Storr is among the best jump shooters who has entered the portal. A plus 40% three-point shooter with three years of eligibility left, he’s going to draw a lot of interest and has already heard from the likes of Arizona State, Auburn, Connecticut, Creighton, Florida, Georgetown, Gonzaga, LSU, Memphis, Miami, Michigan, Oklahoma State, Xavier and several others.

It's tough to accept that we couldn't work something out with Storr. We will certainly hear plenty from him, as he is a true super talent on the way up.

I think it just came down to the demands that Pitino was going to make on his players. Siva talked about it in the interview that was posted. I think with Posh it was the same thing. A very demanding program and no guarantees on playing time.
And on and off court professionalism, which I think was lacking in Anderson's tenure. Especially off court. Again, just my opinion.

Damn that video he posted with Speedy apparently wasn’t all that matters. Can’t say I blame him.
You feel bad for many of these mid majors especially the one's who enjoy success. Because now kids who may not have been heavily recruited out of HS and have to settle for playing at Hofstra get a few years to excel and then high majors just get to pluck them from the Hofstra's of the world thru the portal. And conversely it is hard to ask Estrada to stay at Hofstra when assuming he decides to transfer he has a legit chance to play for a team and conference that has a better chance to play in the NCAAT then a 1 bid league like the CAA.

I hear you but this kid has bounced around more than a basketball handled by Curbelo.

All this being true, thought Estrada might have learned his lesson and found a place he could succeed at after transferring originally from St. Peter’s to oregon before come back East to Hofstra.
