The Yankees have traded left-handed outfielder and first baseman Jake Bauers to the Milwaukee Brewers, per a team announcement. In return, the Yankees received minor league outfielders Jace Avina and Brian Sanchez.

• Avina, 20, has shown promising performance in the minor leagues with a .249 batting average, 29 home runs, and 14 stolen bases in 163 games.
• Sánchez, 19, had an impressive debut season, hitting .297 with 4 triples and 8 stolen bases in 33 games with the DSL Brewers 1.
