rizzo is a way above average defensive first baseman but he missed a lot of the season.
volpe - I cannot believe that there are 12 worse al defensive shortstops than him.

We got all three (Chapman the first time) in trades while they still had plenty in the tank. Chapman did fine the first go around but they didn’t use Montgomery probably (St. Louis and Texas seem to figure out how he should use his repertoire and trusted him to go into the 7th and later, unfortunately Evoldi couldn’t stay healthy and Heaney was horrible for two teams last year.
