Yankees 2024 Season

Wash, rinse, repeat. How bad is the offense and team, overall? Something about this team is really rotten, exemplified by the ridiculous German situation. Only Boone thinks Judge is not being pitched around. Effing CLUELESS. Everyone sees it and knows it but him. BTW, Stanton sucks. What a shame we're stuck with him a bunch more years. 30 strikeouts in 2 games. "We gotta be better", says Boone. But never one answer or solution to the problem. So now Boone is using the injury excuse. That's bullshit. Every team has injuries throughout the year. Keep in mind the season is in front of them. Like a freight train.
 
Brahahaha now the Yanks under Boone are seriously comical.

He was scratched because of an injury, but then he comes in the game, then gives up 2 hits in 5 inning while striking out 4. WTFffffffffg.

Who is calling this Boone or cashman?

This is becoming really embarrassing.

I don’t speak for the Yankees, try to figure out why they do things or even care, I am a Met fan and Lord knows they have their own problems. I was merely speculating on him being an injury scratch and then pitching.
 
Such a pathetic team. No one kills this team more than me, but I'm going to give Rodon a pass this year. He's so out of synch, and so predictable. Needs much better advice.

OTOH, Stanton gets no pass. He is f*cking horrible. Why not leave IKF in there? Stanton has no chance against any pitcher.

On offense this team is incapable of making in game adjustments. None at all.

Boone keeps saying they need to figure it out. The press doesn't even bother to ask the clueless one any questions, because he has absolutely no answers. The fastest post game press conference I've ever seen.
 
Time to clean house SWB. All the AAAA players not worthy of a call up need to go. This would have a domino effect throughout the system. The Yankees are slow to advance players. A 4A clear out would force the Yankees to fill these holes. We would be able to find out who can play and who cannot. Example, Dominguez is going to play there next year. Why not this year.
 
It is not a surprise that this team is horrible and just plain bad and tought to watch. This year is just a little more dramatic version of the past 3 or 4 years teams we have seen.

The baseball approach is fundamentally flawed. Cashman, of all GMs has gone most all-in on the analytics stuff. And, the result is a completely unwatchable and bad brand of baseball (if you can call it that).

This stems for the fundamentally wrong approach to getting and managing players.

The new "Yankee way" is to acquire (or bring up) players who are decent enough and turn them into max swing every pitch "launch angel junkies. The strikeouts are apparent. But I also have never seen a team with more weak groundouts and infield pop ups. It is overswinging and topping the ball. e.g., Andujar; Sanchez; Byrd; Torres; et al plus the old over the hill gang that are brought here because they can hit HRs but alas at the end of their careers can't and are .220 hitters.

Defense is horrible. Baserunning is horrible. No clutch hits.

Basically again, flawed approach on all levels.
