Boone is such a shitty manager. Why bring in Cordero to start the 7th instead of leaving in Hamilton, or bring in King to start the 7th. I understand there was a fielding misplay, but Boone's decisions continue to be highly questionable. Yanks will never win anything with him as manager. He's f*cking horrible.

Boone said he was only going to play him 2 of the 3 games in this series because he wanted to ease him back, especially on artificial turf.

Can't lose 6-0 leads with your ace on the mound. Another Yankees pitcher, Cordero, who does not know how to field his postion, never looking back the runner coming around. That's taught to 10 year old Little Leaguers. This team is just not that good, even when they get most everyone back.
I don't know why I subject myself to Boone's postgame interviews. He's spews the same shit every loss. "We're competing, I trust in these guys, In hindsight I should have, We're fighting, We're hooked up (whatever that means), There are a lot of good things happening". Bullshit. They're a .500 team, with a clueless manager.
Too bad he didn’t pull a hammy rounding first and be out for the season.

as i am on the road, i only saw the last 3 innings of both games.
king charles III had a better weekend than king cole.
the series had 3 exciting games. the rays drew 3 times their average crowd.
its sad the yanks dont play the rays/boston/toronto 19 or 22 times.
instead we get miami/cinc/colo.
up 6 zip and lose - ugly..
