Cole and Peralta (almost) both join the long list of Yankees pitchers incapable of fielding their position. Absolutely unreal.

it was one of the greatest comebacks in the long and storied history of yanks/guardians.
it seems that every time schmidt pitches, the yanks leather disappoints.
first inning - 4 ground balls, 2 find holes, 2 find yank gloves with holes, 2 runs score.
yanks paying the defensive price with new to the outfield players, and
outfielders new to each other.
boonie made a lot of decisions - 6 pitchers, pinch runners, pinch hitters, defensive substitutions.
yanks find new ways to get hurt.

This minor league team is a god awful mess. Glad the games are shorter so I can get through them more quickly via DVR.
 
This is a series where if they take 2 of 3 could get the team going. As Ray's fan I hope it's 0-3 but they miss Shane and Eflin plus have Cole on Sunday. They are hitting the 6th Starter (Chirinos) and a most likely a semi-injured Fleming on Sunday.
