On defense he gets in Volpe's way and an error happen, just bench him for game 3.

Thank God Rizzo came up huge with an RBI hit.

You're assuming the same result with runners on first and second.

Maybe the guy throws a different pitch, and Rizzo grounds it to third for the triple play, and we don't get anything.

Unlikely that were to happen, but I think everything changed once Chisholm got picked off. Maybe the pitcher was paying more attention to Volpe at first base after that, and lost his concentration.

The error was changed to a hit, btw. Not a good play, but they weren't getting him anyway.

Good games for Volpe, the Captain, Rizzo and Verdugo, but wow, that was some horrible baserunning by Chisholm and Rizzo. Of course, we're used to that with Aaron Boone teams.

Great job by Torres setting the tone at the top of the lineup. Wells is absolutely lost. Might be time to give Trevino a shot.

Let's get Game 3 with Schmidt on the mound. Gil with the long layoff concerns me for Game 4.
