Yankees 2024 Season

Yankee fans need to stay home and not support this travesty. Starve the beast.
I really don't think that is going to change things. Hal is loyal to a fault when it comes to Cashman, and Boone is Cashman's guy.

Hal is basically James Dolan without the nastiness.

Ideally, a "Joe Biden" were be performed on Hal (people on the board of trustees, or whatever the Yankees have, would take the team out from under him), but I don't know if that's possible. It seems like, from everything you hear, the organization is in synch. Perhaps, too much so.

The trade deadline apraches.
Do you see any of our players that other teams covet other than the big two?
Are there any minor leaguers they covet? If there are, why aren’t they here?
The Rice experiment has run its course. Back to Scranton.
With the lack oh hitters, we turn to the draft where 8 of their top 10 were pitchers. No immediate help.

0.249 lifetime BA, projects for 162 games—27 hrs, 82 rbis,183 Ks. Looks like another big swinger, rather than a contact hitter.
He does bring the speed element though, which is something we don't have in abundance.

22 steals is more than anyone else on this team has, although a 73.3 percent rate is not great (but not bad).

soon to be a dodger gettys. 2 zip. mlles to go before we sleep.
back to back. belly to belly. $99.

Truer words were never spoken, but the guys got the job done in the end! And, the Orioles lost earlier today!

Bad job by Soto running through that stop sign, but I'm glad he didn't wear the goat horns for it, because he means so much to us.

I didn't think Grisham had a chance in that 9th inning. Great job by him.

Torres pulls the hidden ball trick on Boston early, and gets the big insurance double in the 10th.

Judge is unbelievable.

I know he walked Abreu with 2 outs in the 10th, but that was still the best Holmes has looked in a long, long time.

Gutsy win. Hard team to watch. They hit, they don't pitch. They pitch, they don't hit.

They play defense like they've never practiced. They run the bases like an undisciplined one year old.

Great AB by Grisham. Judge on base 6 times. Wow.

No reason to hold onto Torres now with Chisholm. Don't put Chisholm at 3B, where he has never played. But Boone will do that, because, of course, he thinks he's the smartest person in the room.

Stroman was awful. Boone thought his stuff was good. What!?!? Rodon to follow tomorrow night. Tonkin has hit the proverbial wall.

Boone made excuses for Soto on the baserunning blunder. Way to hold them accountable.

on the knocking at the door in macbeth.

$99 * what a game. rope city. another mvp season. could have 100 rbies in july.
trade for whom? after $99 and soon to be a dodger, yanks sticks lack rbi people.
soon will have all that jazz, stanton, and the martian.
needs - starters and the pen.
right now it is red light sale days in mlb. have nots are giving away talent for prayers.
yanks should give up prospects for pitching.
volpe - the worse fielding shortstop to win a golden glove.
dj - the late innings first base defensive replacement. period.
ben rice crispies - the pitchers caught upto you real quick.
please get a running coach. there is only 2nd, 3rd, home. it cant be that hard to count to 3.
was not the game - red light, green light universally played?

Nice complete team win and series win.

Chisholm looked right at home striking out with 2 on and 1 out early.

2nd straight good outing by Rodon.

Will have their hands full with the Phillies throwing Wheeler and Nola Monday and Tuesday.

bravo rodon. not easy holding this sox lineup to 2 runs with short green monster.
another rbi for $99. he is at 96 with 3 july dates.
all that jazz. certainly exciting. maybe the best yankee base runner since bret g.
sadly, being the best yankee base runner is like being the fastest runner in your chess club.
