Yankees - 2019

True, another throwing error. At the plate, 3 k's

It has been two years since he has done anything offensively and his defense is not major league quality. Sit has ass or send him to the minors to learn how to catch.

Boone talks of his Elite bullpen. Well, they allowed a horrible team to add on runs the last 2 days. And he talks about creating Traffic. But that's only one part of the equation. You must be able to hit with RISP, which they are very poor at. Team is poorly constructed.

And their starting pitching was much worse than ours!

Agree. They went 6 for 29 with runners in scoring position in the series and stranded 33 runners. This was a problem last year also in spite of hitting 267 HRs.

Losing 2 of 3 at home to the Triple A Birds? Fire Boone! Bring back Yogi or at least Girardi! ;) :)
Sanchez homered in today's loss.
and made his second error in 3 games. Much more important IMO. But he did raise his BA to .231

His bat is going to be back to where it was prior to last year. You saw a drop because of the shoulder injury. Ironically the same injury that effected Judge the season prior when he hit his big slump.

Yes he's not Pudge Rodriguez back there. But there is nowhere for him to go. Can't DH when the team is optimal. Can't teach him 1B in the middle of the year (maybe they should have in the offseason sure).

Have to unfortunately just live with him behind the plate.

That is why I was advocating to trade him for Realmuto. I think they could have gotten it done if they tried. The Marlins did not get that much for him from Philadelphia. I am not at all sure if he is going to get back to where he was prior to last year. He was a rookie then. The pitchers now know how to pitch to him. Sure he is going to hit his share of home runs, but his bad defense is going to kill this team. A lot of pitches classified as wild pitches are really passed balls. He led the majors in passed balls last year only playing part of the season.

Small details but he played out of this world for 50 games his rookie year and 122 his 2nd year. Last year was his 3rd season and a disaster.

An injury to your lead shoulder when swinging to me is a huge issue. I'm confident he will be offensively back. Defense is never going to get better or at least to the point that will make fans content.

game 3 - came home & my dvr was not set for extensive rain delay. only had tape of first 2 innings.
that 3 run homer was a tape measure job.
never like to read a box score & comment but sad to see kranken get another throwing error.
I suspect Romine starts on Monday.
I would have started him from game one. The passed balls with Sanchez are his biggest problem and that is only going to get worse.
The Sanchino with his second homer in as many days!
And third error in four days!

Come on. You know that error should be on Gleybar. He whiffed on it
