Yankees - 2019

At least the Ray's lost a game today and the Red Sux are on their way to a loss to the Dodgers.

game 90.
tough one run loss. game winning run on base when game ended.
happ tagged with loss, although leaving the game with no runs scored.
two bloop hits, sandwiched around a double steal did the yanks in.
dj's first 3 at bats - hits ball on the screws & nothing to show for it.
dj last time up - seeing eye base hit up the middle. happy b-day.
kraken robbed of a hit with bases loaded & 2 outs. POG.
first time ever -the old school redmen why was he even born award goes to a non player - the home plate ump.
although #99 had 4 hits. #99 was called out on strikes on a ball way inside.
voit gets squeezed in the 9th to end the game on a borderline pitch.

game 91.
hard to figure if boone is a lineup genius or is Cashman the man.
boone plays gio - 2 rbis, one run scored. plays the tasch - home run.
didi - in a slump - looks like he is swinging for the fences on each cut.
boone is quick in yanking a bullpenner.
judge's bat is on fire - but is he giving up the long ball for a single?
tanaka/chapman - all star winners again today.
the daily old school redmen why is he even alive award - once again goes to a different category of people - the Toronto ownership/management for putting a crappy product on the field. almost gave it to the yankee infield gloves.
i'll take stroman in a trade & make him my #3.

Bout time Boone is a quick yanker with the pen, last year he probaby held them back with letting the pen ruin games by giving up big innings. I'd give the quick hook everytime, unless the pitcher has a history of dominating the next hitter up. No patience for a pitcher stinking it up, if he's having a bad day then take him out and put him back in the next day. If Cash was giving the orders to let the pen guys work out of jams i'd say yeah ok, and still follow my gut.
If he calls me in his office and wants to scream at me then that's ok, i'd smile at him and say deep breath killer, we won. I wouldn't look like an idiot for no one if I know the pitcher doesn't have it.
What's he gonna do, fire me if we're winning?
Cashman could suit up, manage and he can look like the idiot himself

I'd take Stroman also, give us those blue jays with Happ coming last year.
And the Red Sux lost at home again last night! Let's get 3 of 4 from the Rays.
Even a split would be OK, since we only have two games left with the Rays after this week, but 3 out of 4 should be the minimum goal.

Asplit at home is never ok.
Lets bury tb is sweep them, but 3 of 4 is ok.

We'll take the first step 3, then the genius will rest 3 regs and use the b tesm pen guys and lose thursday.

The "genius" is probably the leading candidate for Manager of the Year!

How many 3rd strike calls Voit took the last 2 games? I'd say atleast 5.

I guess D'Arnoud is now the next David Ortiz. Beat us that Sunday in TB, now tonight 3HR and accounted for all 5runs. I'd hit him the next time he's up and f the umps and commish and whoever else.
In the old days if a hitter is to comfy up there, you hit the sob.

Was 8.5 lead down to 5, gotta be careful here

Voit and Sanchez need to step it up. Big holes in the middle of the lineup tonight. Plain and simple, Chapman needs to be better. Have to get a leadoff lefty out. Team is struggling against better pitching. Real concern going forward.

Is Aaron Judge batting the quietest 295 ever?

game 92.
one of the worse defeats I have ever seen.
chapman - peacock in game 91, feather duster in game 92 - despite 101 mph heat.

Chapman got beat on his second best pitch. Maddening!
Voit-Swing the Freaking bat. At least, protect the plate.

Bump

Didi with the grand slam to put Yanks up 8-3 after 8. Hopefully that gets him going!

I am on the LIRR now coming home from the game. Judge with the huge two run homer to put us ahead and Didi with the bomb for a Grand Slam to finish it making up for his huge base running blunder.

Encarnacion with two hits including a homer. Hopefully he is heating up and what can I say about D.J. Hale with the huge job in relief getting a huge double play in the 7th. Way to come back after last night’s stunner.

Hopefully Voit, Sanchez and Didi all get going after tonight. Big win. Made up for the previous night standings-wise.

game 93. sweet.
did judge change his SOP and is going for homers instead of base hits?
is Edwin out of his seattle slump?
did didi not listen to fans that said quit trying for the getty goner?
all set to give both kraken (kkk) & voit (3 at bats, 4 outs) the first ever old school redmen why bother bringing a bat to the plate award but the 8th inning caused them to default that award.
all set to give didi the first ever old school redmen why bother wearing spikes award for his running blunder but the 8th inning caused him to default that award.
did give cc the first ever old school redmen throw at his head award for screaming at cc's favorite rays player.
It might ONLY be 6 game lead. But the Yankees have 4 games in hand as well.
8 up in the loss column on Rays. Why is the loss column more important then 4 up in the win column, because you can't make up losses.

11 up in loss column on Red Sox.
