Yankees - 2019
Just not a fan. Never liked the hire. Just me.
Same here, the sunday night game still pisses me off, putting in cessa (in the 7th?), when only down 3-2 then gets the snot smacked out of him. That move still makes me boil.
You ask why? After watching that pos scum team celebrate on our turf 3 gd times and hearing that mofo'er corra talking shit at the championship parade that "the Yankees f'ing suck", i want to bury that trashy team.
Yep, i got pure hate for Boston.
I'd let boone go and hire an assassin.

The guy has the team in first place with the third best record in MLB. That in spite of an epic number of injuries. What do you want from the guy?
You don’t sit a hot bat. That’s just common sense.

Sit the cold bat, Stanton. He'll be frozen shortly. What a waste getting him. He was never needed here.

At the time I wanted them to go after Yelich.

The irony that Sanchez and Torres replacements both homered.
Boone should go play the lotto

game 76.
Christmas came early for holder. gives up 3 runs in one inning & gets the win.
because of holder, a fine outing by tanaka does not earn tanaka a win.
first half mvp dj gets 2 walks, hit, run scored.
with both the montreal rays & the sox losing, the al east race turns into a sailboat race.
yankee sticks stay hot. boone is resting players. all his sticks are hot.
even buried romine gets a hit & run scored.
voit is turning into an above average defensive first baseman.
4 rbis for stanton Saturday
Bench Sunday

:silly:
He's getting to fancy for his own good.
9-0 then JD hits a 3-run bomb.
The comeback?

game 77.
j brooks v stopped the yankees.
only "half season" mvp dj could hit him - single, triple, home run.
boone left happ in to absorb some innings. happ absorbed the loss.
maybin on il. gives gardner more at bats.
cessa - 4 innings, one run.

Seems to me, we do not fair well in games played on Old Timers' Day.

Holder's performance may have been the worst pitching I have ever seen. Five batters, 5 hits, 5 runs, no outs. He has been optioned back to Triple A. The Yankees were forced to use Green who is scheduled to open today and Chapman to close after having an 8 run lead.

I was at 5he game Saturday night and wondered why Boone brought in Holder and told everyone he was about to give up the two run lead, and of course he did.

I understand trying to get him straightened out with a 10 - 2 lead but man was he horrible again. Was optioned to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after the game.

game 78.
yanks tie mlb record - home run in 27 straight games.
I mistakenly relaxed when kahnle/holder came in with 8 run lead.
bravo cc. after 1st inning, he was the man & notched a 6 inning win.
its official - after going 4 for 4 with 2 runs scored, dj named 1st half season mvp.

game 79.
the green/cortes/bullpen by committee wins again. no walks by yankee pitching.
chapman - I rarely praise him. I take him for granted. 23 saves in 25 chances. he had one blown save when an infielder made an error, that if no error, the yanks would have won the game and chapman would have another save.
chapman has only given up one homer this season.
mvp dj - another home run and a triple.
"""The Yankees not only set the major league record with their 28th consecutive game with a home run, but they did so in interesting fashion: All four of their runs in the 4-3 win over the Blue Jays came on solo home runs. It's only the fifth time in 40 seasons that the Yankees scored at least four runs with all the runs coming on solo home runs. DJ LeMahieu hit the record breaker leading off the bottom of the first.

Paxton has terrible control and puts himself in bad situations. Good thing Yankees Stadium is such a bandbox and the Bombers have big bats.

I'm worried about my buddy Oldschool

Interesting prior to those 2 HR's he only allowed 1 HR in all his home starts previously this year.
