Yankees - 2019

game 71.
tanaka tanaka tanaka. gave up 2 singles, walk.
only 3rd time this year that rays laid goose eggs.
dj is the man.
maybin over Frasier - last night's game showed it was a good move.
yanks play rays 11 times in next 28 days.
great to draw first blood. yanks beat a good starter.

Maybin over Frazier was never a question.
The problem is now is it Maybin or a pitcher that goes. Most Yankees fan want to dump Cessa or Holder. If Holder has options left it would make sense to straighten him out ala Green.

Please dump Cessa, can't stand him.
Great game by Tanaka, complete games was the norm if a pitcher was kicking ass, now you can pitch 7 great inning maybe 1hits allowed and have 13 K's but because you're at 105pitches you gotta come out.
I remember a game at Shea, El Duque threw 158 pitches in I beleve 10 innings. Now you're lucky if you throw 120.

Hope Happ keeps the line moving tonight..

Good to see the starters settling down, 4 runs in the last 3 games, over 20innings.
Maybin is catching fire now, and hit another hr. Just a few weeks ago he was an automatic out. Gardner is probably the 4th of'er since he been here his entire career, but Maybin is going to make it a tough choice when Judge gets back.
Tomorrow is a huge game, with a win we open up a nice little 4.5 game lead. A loss and it's only 2.5
Hoping CC comes through, keep the line moving.

2 nice complete game wins. Agree today is key. Tough matchup vs. Snell. Need some length from CC. Can he give us more than 3 or 4 innings? Guess we'll see Cessa today.

game 72.
welcome back Stanton. welcome Edwin to the big leagues.
maybin again shows that Cashman is the man.
dj is also the man. scored 1st run, knocks in 2nd run, scores 4th run.
chapman stays on fire.
yanks drew 2nd blood. bosox struggling for WC spot (yeah)..

So they mentioned last night that Holder and Cortes have options but Cessa and Hale don't.

We currently have a 2 1/2 game lead.

Yeah I realized I messed up last night.
So ok. A 3.5 game lead is better than 1.5

game 73.
bravo bravo bravo cc. 250 wins. 6 innings. one run.
this should guarantee his number being retired by the yanks.
maybin - walk & scored. Cashman is still a gen e ous.
12 runs via 6 hits.
I felt confident that cessa could hold a 11 run lead for 2 innings. 6 up. 6 down. with a 390 foot out.
how sweep it is. whipping the rays for 3 games.
why yanks are in first.
dj - first inning - single & scored, then with 2 outs, a 2 rbis hit. project that for 9 innings/162 games.
dj - best in baseball with risp.
home runs - they are looking to break their own record of 25 straight games with a homer.
houseton is up next for the bombers.

Ended up a great series. You never know with the pitching matchups. Never remotely figured that Snell could not get out of the 1st inning. I would have guessed that would happen with CC. Lets hope the Twins win tonight vs. The Red Sux. Houston coming in after a sweep by the Reds. Wow.

Always room for another Yankee fan!

game 74.
yanks and their sticks are hot, hot, hot.
I hope this ends the talk that the yanks and chisox have played the weakest schedule so far.
yanks just swept the tampa/montreal rays & drew first blood against houseten.
the green/cortes starting pitchers experiment continues.
in my campaign to have dj voted 2019 mvp before the all star game - another good offensive game from him.
as well as maybin - comeback player of year. Cashman - gm of year.
yanks bullpen was terrible. chapman threw 7 pitches to end the drama..
the getty goners continue to flow in the big ball orchard in the south Bronx.

game 75.
another big win against a playoff team. bravo.
2 doubles caused the only run for the housetenites. welcome back judge.
another round of getty goners.
kraken with a 481 foot - yes four hundred eighty one feats - getty goner.
a healthy from the neck down kraken is all-star/mvp material for years to come.
the only way to stop dj, is when he is resting.
maybin gets another hit but suffers an injury (minor?).

Just doing what this team is built for, win win, and win some more.
Tanaka's turn in the rotation, gotta keep the great pitching up.
After winning the first 2 games, they gotta at the least take 3 of 4, so just split the last 2.
Of course if we win tonight, then i'll want a sweep. Yeah, I'm really greedy, I never settle.

Yeah I know moose, it's real hard being a Yankee fan. lmfao
Gotta love Boone and the nerds upstairs.

Sitting Sanchez AND Torres today
It's 80 degrees out, they're pooped.

Haven't they both hit Homer's in 3 consecutive games? One of the reasons I can't stand him and his lineups.

The guy has the team in first place with the third best record in MLB. That in spite of an epic number of injuries. What do you want from the guy?
