Welcome Kadary Richmond!

No because they just say G. But WG is a pretty common phrase. Usually refers to someone who plays as SG on O but guards a SF on D.
As in Wing or as in Wing Guard. It’s wing to me but I don’t think we’re really disagreeing about anything. I think glover is a wing and with the way college lineups are created I see him playing 3/4 predominetly.

I do think we agree on usage. We just speak different languages. ;)

It is great to see the versatility that so many of our players will have. I hope Ledlum wins his case and is our final add if we don't get Pryor. Ledlum knows the system, will understand and accept his role and battle on the boards. Looking forward to next season.

Kadary was first team big east. No disrespect to Jenkins at all but Kadary is better
Of course . It’s a opinion and varies from person to person .
All I said , was I didn’t see a huge upgrade of Richmond over Jenkins . Their stats are somewhat comparable . He is bigger than Daniss for sure and should rebound better , as a result .
Jenkins was the team leader and while Smith will fill that role next season , Richmond’s role will be different than it was at SH.
It’s all just conjecture and only a conversation commentary since everyone’s opinions differ .
And , Jenkins did score 27 points in our BE semi final loss to UCONN . Kind of kept us in that game .

I agree, they’re close but I think Kadary is a better rebounder and a better defensive player. Offensively, scoring wise, it’s a wash.

They aren’t close at all. Jenkins couldn’t defend anyone. That’s half the game. He was one of the worst pick and roll defenders I’ve ever seen. Kolek made national news for calling him BBQ chicken.

He was also the most toxic offensive teammate I’ve ever seen play here…even above Curbelo.

What are we doing here? Jenkins was rated the 80th best transfer after 4 years in college. Kadary is 1 or 2.

You lost me at “toxic.” Also, who gives a crap about last year’s rankings. Based on his play last year, if Jenkins had another year of eligibility this year, he’d be one of the top pgs in the portal.

We understand you never liked Jenkins, and you have your strong opinions which I will not counter.

But when you say Jenkins was a more toxic offensive teammate than Curbelo, you lose me. Curbelo was toxic all across the board, starting with the locker room, which carried over to massive toxicity on offense and defense.

I was gonna respond to you and Sly Fox about the alternate universe in which Jenkins and Richmond are in the same sentence but I will let Marillac handle it. Gotta delegate sometimes.

Obviously you have a opinion . We all do . But , anointing Marillac a proxy on Jenkins vs Richmond is puzzling .
Although your inference is that no comparison is realistic .
I wonder if you cornered Pitino on the comparison what he would say? Of course , he won’t do that in public .
They are different players for sure . Jenkins a leader on/ off the Court .
Richmond , MiA for 3 games .. not leadership material in my book .
He’s a very good player . Of that there is no doubt .
But , Smith will be the Leader of next year’s team , not Richmond .
