Thank you for the jinxJust think, we didn't play as bad as the Knicks tonight.
Baby steps boys. Baby steps.
Now the Knicks tied the Bulls.Just think, we didn't play as bad as the Knicks tonight.

He just seems steady. Zuby is moving at 1.5x speed at all times. Zuby is also getting stuck on guards. We don’t need to hedge 7 feet outside the arc, Zuby. It’s limited minutes but Prey looking a lot better since the open practice. Let’s see against better comp but he’s smooth
He looks bigger than Vince out there. Takes up more space. It’s limited minutes but Prey looking a lot better since the open practice. Let’s see against better comp but he’s smooth
Because Vince crouches all game.He looks bigger than Vince out there. Takes up more space.
-Lastly, and more scary.... Kadary looks completely uninterested... was this his on court demeanor at The Hall? What i thought was "cool and collected" -> looks more "i wonder whats for dinner later" apathy....
Hopefully people show out at MSG...
Big blocked shot at 39-37, then found Smith for the 3 pointer in the ensuing offensive possession.Kadary spurred our 18-0 run with crisp and effective passes to different guys who made 4 threes. He’s the reason we pulled away after our offense slept for 30 minutes.
I think the starting lineup was simply Pitino changing things up to see how different combinations work together. Except perhaps for Zuby, where it was also probably a motivational tool. For Kadary and RJ, I think it was probably seeing how the group that started played together plus rewarding Dunlap for a great game against Q and giving some extra burn to Scott who played like 1 minute that game because he wasn't feeling well.Poor effort tonight that may have been predicted by change in starting lineup.
Pitino trying to send messages to a few players.
Kadary Richmond has to start making a difference on offense other than passing...especially when the team needs a quick turnaround from the anemic effort like in the first half.
Prey will be challenging Zuby and others for minutes very soon because he plays a sound all-around game.
What gives is that Rutgers has no breathing center.I thought Zion - sorry I mean Zuby - was an AA candidate and lottery pick after the Rutgers game.
What gives?
Noticed the same thing and too Vince’s credit, he didn’t sulk…cheered for his teammatesI’d have to watch a replay to pinpoint the exact moment, but there was one defensive possession where Vince had a real ill advised lunge at the ball which allowed his man to miss a shot and get his own rebound and score before Vince could get back into position.
Pitino sent Zuby to the scorers table right after it happened, and that was it for Vince.
Interesting that Zuby got to play through mistakes tonight but not Vince
Pre-game in the Red White room John Minko said exactly that, wanted to see different players and how they would do.I think the starting lineup was simply Pitino changing things up to see how different combinations work together. Except perhaps for Zuby, where it was also probably a motivational tool. For Kadary and RJ, I think it was probably seeing how the group that started played together plus rewarding Dunlap for a great game against Q and giving some extra burn to Scott who played like 1 minute that game because he wasn't feeling well.
Kadary had 7 assists! Not to shabbyWow... that was embarrassing. Gonna ignore the "good" 6 minute stretch we had there at the end... overall- that was ugly to watch...
-Starting with the crowd... The Towson exhibition had more people there... maybe im just in my own SJU "bubble"- but thought the first time playing as a Ranked team in 5 years- people would have been out in force... anyway...
-That could have been the ugliest 28 mins of basketball I have witnessed... not was i was expecting 3rd game of the year. We are lucky Wagner is putrid- would have lost playing like this to Quinnipiac
-Zuby is in his own Head...
-Lastly, and more scary.... Kadary looks completely uninterested... was this his on court demeanor at The Hall? What i thought was "cool and collected" -> looks more "i wonder whats for dinner later" apathy....

If Pitino's plan for Kadary Richmond is to turn him into an NBA player, at the current pace, he will go undrafted. He has to show an offensive game, especially from deep.I think the starting lineup was simply Pitino changing things up to see how different combinations work together.
