StopJenkins is everything else you say he is but he has shot under 25% 3fg in 3 of his 4 years in school. He is not adequate enough to be taking 20% of this teams 3s and more than 4 per game. But if Rick wants him to do it so be it. Just win baby.

Jenkins is a 2 guard improving every game as a point and is still twice the player as Alexander+100
Agreed. It is a talent to be able to get an open shot any time you want. As statedI feel like every team needs a volune shooter. At least for the most part DJ gets separation from his defender. Whether it goes in is something else.
Every tipped ball he gets that isn't a steal doesn't show up, but they matter.Luis made serious winning plays. Yes, he can chuck a little less, but the guy hustles and makes small plays not on the box score.
It may not be the time to say this but he is 100% right. Bask in victory but strive to do better. DJ needs to do betterStop
Donny also mentioned it’s been some years since he’s seen SJU have a controlled half court offense.Donny said during the game that Anderson was a good man(won't debate that) and a good coach(will debate that) but he never had a shooter like Dunlap on his roster. And who's fault is that?
Rick is a master at it, but having aDonny also mentioned it’s been some years since he’s seen SJU have a controlled half court offense.
It's actually our first win on their campus since '93. We've beaten them a few times at the Sixers' arena.first time in 31 years we beat nova at nova.
We win as a team we lose as a team. It’s that simpleI don't know if we win or lose this game without Daniss but it's impossible to deny that he's a big plus for this team, especially since Dingle isn't nearly the scorer or shot creator we thought he would be. Earlier in the season Daniss was taking ridiculous shots because nobody else was really capable of creating offense for themselves. Since Luis has returned, there's finally another player on the floor that can make something happen on his own. The offense was noticeably different with Luis on the bench today when Jenkins had shoulder more of the offense. Now, both Jenkins and Luis still take bad shots from time to time but it's way less for Jenkins now than it was earlier this season.
As for Dunlap, obviously his offense changes the dynamic of how teams have to defend us, but I'm shocked at how good his defense has been the past 2 games. I thought for sure he'd get targeting nonstop while in the game and get abused but he's actually held his own on that end. He's moving his feet well and not fouling. I don't expect him to be a great defender but he's not nearly the liability I thought he'd be on that end in his Freshman season.
Sim is so pumped when Brady hits shots and is always engaged on the bench regardless. Awesome to see. Hope he sticks around.
Everybody contributed in this one even the ones in limited minutes. Sim had that pretty lob to Zuby for the oop. Conway played smart basketball at a time when they team needed it. Zuby made the most of his 5 mins.
Fortunate that Nova was cold from 3 today and might not be that lucky in other games this season but also think our guys did a great job contesting and making them uncomfortable on a lot of them.
The Jenkins haters might just need to buckle up and accept how the rest of the season is gonna goWe win as a team we lose as a team. It’s that simple
