@Villanova, Sat. Feb. 4, 8pm, CBS Sports/570AM

What's the count on the minor disciplinary issues this season ?

2, 3, 4 ???

Strange. Kid looks so engaged during the games and always seems to be a positive influence. Hope he's not pulling a Rysheed and skipping classes

ccnobz you might make me a very happy person tonight !!!!!!!!!!

That T on Wright certainly helped.
I love Jay Wright more than Beast right now

Ha we won again. I took the 2nd half line +4.5 also. I hate when STJ losses but its nice to win a few bucks.
you are winning me back my football losses from the year. who you taking for the super bowl ?

Hope springs eternal.... St.John's next game is next Saturday. February 11th against Seton Hall at MSG.

Kenpom gives St.John's a 49% chance of winning.

Pats -3 for the game , under 1st half and either J Jones +750 or Edelman +750 for 1st TD scored. Good luck hope you win

Told Marcus LoVett didn't start because of a "minor disciplinary issue." #sjubb

Well I guess I stand corrected. Wonder what all the stretching was about.
It's called a beard. LoVett limped his way to 23 points as he continually blew by the other 9 players on the court for lay ups.

that defense right there by Ellison on Bridges was horrible.... didnt even try and I know he has 4 fouls but you give yourself up for the team.

Why is he in over Lovett anyway???

Ellison leaves a lot to be desired in the effort department. As Monte pointed out in another thread, the next loose ball he goes after will be his first. On another note, and yes, it is far from anything but a random observation, Freudenberg looked like he came in and played a little looser, right after coming in the game he made a nice move and pass to Williams, who fumbled it but recovered for a layup. He later took two 3's with no hesitation and made one. For sure might mean nothing, we shall see; confidence is a funny thing.

Ellison also seems to love a lazy, soft bounce pass to his teammates that makes me cringe.

...though there's only a 10% chance of that

With a few more learning experiences like last night, this class will all graduate summa cum laude

All part of "the process" :)

Why is Lovett on the bench? Why didn't he start? I didn't expect us to win this, but was hoping to at least make it competitive, which cannot happen with our PG on the bench. WTF Is Mullin thinking??

Does anybody read my posts???

Yes, BOO. you said cramping Before the game and he needed to stretch and get loose.. Other wise, he could pull a muscle . But, we should still get a official statement.

Good luck with that. From what I've seen , this staff has been less than transparent with injuries.

I have absolutely no connections or inside sources. I can only report what I see. I was a few feet away and he was visibly limping. When the game started, he was lying on the baseline getting stretched out and seemed to be in discomfort. I've observed this a number of times during games.

The trainer was doing that during warm-ups for the second half against quete.

Yeah, I've seen him getting stretched out during games when he comes out a handful of times. He clearly has some minor issue, but based on Zach B's report, it sounds like it wasn't related to the decision for him not to start.

Bottom Line.......At this time, a talented, well-coached, senior-laden team is a horrible match-up for us.
