Villanova (MSG), Sat., Jan. 11 , 7p, CBSSN

LMF give me a break. Yes Poplar blew by him several times but Luis is not only physically talented he is a big time clutch player who was far and away the best player on the court and came up biggest when it mattered most.
Give me him every day and any day over Kadary.
Could also be that he was tiring, as he was carrying us in scoring, rebounding and diving for loose balls last 5 minutes.

I'm not killing RJ. It was just notable that Poplar blew by him multiple times. Not sure if it was RJ defense or team defense but it was definitely something. I do not ordinarily expect to see RJ get roasted like that, he's a long mobile and athletic defender. So it was surprising.

This team goes nowhere without RJ (warts and all) Richmond (warts and all) and Ejafor (zero negatives to that kid).

After that the 4th option is variable game to game, usually Smith but I remain of the view that Scott is a big key and getting his offense going would be huge.

LMF, I am of the view that Kadary at least from what I have seen to date is the 5th best player on our team after RJ, Zuby, Smith and Scott.
Kadary also gets blown by regularly defensively.

Very good win, just not for the season, but for the Program in general. Big crowd, some people starting to watch us a little and we seized the “W”. With success comes expectations. Need to show some consistency and beat the Hoyas on Tuesday. Season on. Long way to go. On to the next hill.

If we read the poster as prognostication the LIRR is 1 for 1 so far ...

To channel my inner Marillac: you can think that, but you would be wrong

He’s going to be be really good next year. He stays with guards, man. Unreal. Once it all clicks for him, look out. He was defending the PG at times and looked fine!
Prey did a nice job on D for sure, but Marillac I think you’re the only one who thinks the kid is going to be really good next year.
