Villanova (MSG), Sat., Jan. 11 , 7p, CBSSN

Tomorrow we abuse Dixon by committee. Scott can definitely help. Their win over UConn was the best thing for us. More juice for the game abd we need to man handle them

Last Gabe I’ll absolutely take missing 3s for suffocating defense and inflicting our will on the boards

That’s why I love the knicks back with oak starks mason etc

We are developing an identity and I F’ing love it
Who’s your daddy

A few likely unpopular comments about RJ: to paraphrase the immortal words of Dennis Green, he is who we thought he was. Enormously physically talented, not especially enamored of sharing the basketball, capable of scoring and offensive rebounding as he did tonight, also capable of at least a couple of brain lock moments every game.

The most interesting thing to me tonight was that he got absolutely cooked by Wooga Poplar in the second half. I do not think that Poplar is that much more talented that he can repeatedly blow by RJ, and RJ is usually a pretty good defender.

It feels like Nova found something in the scouting report about RJ's defense that they were able to capitalize on. SJU staff needs to figure that one out.

RJ lacks a bit of lateral quickness

I understand what you’re saying Lawmanfan, but our most pressing issue right now is getting at least two of our three injured players back.

He did get overpowered by Poplar. Perhaps if quicke and more physical Smith was not injured, he would have been assigned Poplar as RJ could not stop the ball.
