Transfers SJU May Get Involved With

All jokes aside, he may not be the big we want but he fills an immediate need. He played for a JUCO that won the national title. If Scekic has solid hands and is hungry for boards then I welcome him with open arms. We don't need an All American in the front court, just a formidable presence to keep opposing teams honest.

Team should pass on a kid averaging 4 ppg and 2 rpg at a JUCO. Don't think the staff should just be recruiting bodies at this point.
 
I think we can add him for his height. I think we might be able to work with him. Clearly, not a polished product.

Just a theory but maybe his playing style didn't jive with the run and gun style of many juco programs (see ie. Bashir).
 
There's no real downside w him, except he also uses an 18 scholi. But ,I'd like to see a grad transfer impact big, not a JUCO bench player. I also would prefer to get quality transfer big who has to sit out a year, in the mold of Clark and Simon.
 
Promblem is times is ticking and we need a body up front With his size and the right coaching and development who knows could be a sleeper

Knox wants to be a SF. If we are going to just throw a dart at the names of top 20 kids, may as well go for McCoy.

He was naked a few minutes prior to the pic. Threw that outfit on to retrieve the newspaper and when he opened the door, Scekic was standing there.

Give Mo more credit than that, he probably just rolled off the scorer's table. Either that or he came from a wedding With Bill Walton as his plus one. Mo not exactly know for his sartorial splendor.
