With Dingle from Penn and if , Ledlum walks on , from Harvard , we could have the GPA. Awards all locked up .

I don't think this will end up being an issue.
You'd have to imagine there'll be a couple of redshirts in that group: Davis and Ayo at the least. Both used their free transfer to come here, so unless he re-enters the portal before the end of the summer, redshirting would make sense for them.
I read somewhere recently Pitino described Conway as a "program player". That sounds like code for someone who isn't going to play much but is all about rebooting the culture. I'm sure he'd describe Ayo and Traore that way as well.
Dunlap is a coach's son and came here without expectations to play right away.
Exactly right. Even though we have no clue if Ledlum is being targeted, let's play this out. You'd have a ten-man rotation that looks something like this:
Guards - Dingle, Jenkins, Alleyne, Wilcher
Wings - Luis, Taylor, Slazinski
Post - Soriano, Ledlum, Ejiofor
No regular minutes - Dunlap, Davis, Conway, Ayo, Traore
Not sure who would do what in that situation, but I agree with your comment re: Dunlap's mindset.

We didn’t expect Davis, Ayo & traore to see any other than mop up time.
dunlap will hopefully be part of rotation, but not Expected as a frosh.
conway appeared to be 10th man already.
Ledlum I think would cut into Taylor’s time who is getting minutes at the 4.

Who ever thought that as a St. John's fan that you would wonder where a coach would be able to find enough minutes for the guys on the roster?

I recall a genius poster (handsome too) wondering whether two kids would be NIL-powered walk-ons while simultaneously redshirting. Helps those kids not lose a year languishing on bench with a bunch of DNPs.
The only bad part would be them not really feeling like part of our national championship team this season.

Red shirting would really make sense for Davis/Ayo.
I am very curious about Luis/Taylor/Zuby/Slazinski/Alleyne, especially adding Ledlum to the mix. That's where I can see a lot of the competition for PT being this off-season. Someone will end up being disappointed. With this amount of depth though, we can survive that + an injury + anything unexpected popping up.
It's not just guys on the roster but quality guys on the roster.
