I was hoping it would mean Davis leaving. But his mom wants him to get that UNC degree. Damn her and her focus on education.
But he'll have a fifth year and he's skinny, so we'll revisit this next season I'm sure, especially if he's not a first rounder and we have NIL up and running.

Caleb Love was awesome his soph season. He’d be a great addition if he buys in. Hubert Davis is a brand new coach…he can’t compare to a guy like Pitino this point in his career. It’s fair to to think Love could play far better under an elite coach like RP. The kid shot 86% from the FT line as a soph. That tells me his shot selection from the field needs work.
The Wash State transfer, TJ Bamba, looks very interesting as well and perhaps more realistic as a Bronx kid. Seems like a transfer that will be playing the second weekend of the tournament next year.

I know was denied but that is a real RUMOR on campus. Not that that means it is true but rumors continued all season.
Love is a ball hog and I am sure not fun to play with but supposedly they don’t like playing with each other.

It’s really not fair to compare Caleb love to Jones in any way. Jones never won. Love played for a team that made the national championship game as a soph as the leader in minutes, second leading scorer, and tied for the lead in assists.I like him and he is talented but people on here hate Jones….Can’t imagine what they would say about Love. That team could really shoot, Brady Manek, the Oklahoma transfer shot over 40% from three on 6.2 attempts and the team as a whole shot 35.8% from deep. That went all the way down to 31.2% as a team this year. That may not sound like much but it is and they were ranked 65th in the country in threes last year to 329th this year! The assists dropped from 11th in the country to 273rd. That’s how important shooters are.
This kid could be a real prize for a team with shooters and the right coach.

Again I like him and don’t think he is an option here but his shot selection would make World B Free blush.
Those 2 are being recruited for St John’s Hockey Team .
2nd transfer so will need a waiver. I think he may get it because he actually already sat a year after he transferred from TT to Bama due to an injury. So even though he was immediately eligible at Bama he had to burn his redshirt because of injury. NCAA may look favorably on that.
