I actually would've pegged him as most likely transfer if CMA was still here.
He was used inconsistently and he would have Gardner breathing down his neck, ready to take his spot.

I really liked Stanley kid left it all on the court. One of the worst parts of CMA was his use of Stanley. Kid would start do some really good things get taken out after like 5 minutes and then never get back on the court how he gave Nyiwe more time over Stanley still blows my mind. He finally started giving Stanley more time the last few games and shocker he played well! I wish this young man the best of luck wherever he lands next and hope he gets more consistent playing time.

Stanley was fun to root for.
He will do well with the right coach. I always thought he was going to be a “poor man’s Montrezl Harrell”, but that didn’t quite pan out. I still really think he has a ton of upside though. He never got enough time to get rolling. He needs more time and more aggression, with the right coach to get where he can be. I do think he will be successful at the right program.

Unfortunate for Stanley. He just wasn’t aggressive enough. And now with Gardner and Lendeborg seemingly comingStanley was fun to root for.
in, he wouldn’t get much run. Missouri Valley Conference team is maybe a better fit
This one is bittersweet. Like the player- but we know we're going to be better. As fans...esp of St John's... most of us form attachment to players, especially the ones that committed to us as Freshmen out of HS. An appreciation that they chose to play their college ball here at SJU.Stanley was fun to root for.
As mentioned, was going to be tough for him next year with Yaxel and BG coming in before Rick signed on.
Will continue to follow these guys in their next stops.

6’8 shooter that attempted 225 3s and only 68 2s this season
That 2 pt % is worrisome, but he’s an athlete and 36% from 3 on 7 attempts is solid.
Hicks hit a would be dagger against us that gave Temple a 72-70 lead with one minute plus left in the game. Curbelo bailed us out that game.

Wish Omar all the best. If I recall correctly, he was a pretty low ranked recruit out of HS who played well above that ranking when given the opportunity which wasn't often enough.
Never did anything but make me proud to root for him. Perhaps the A-10 or MVC (as someone else suggested) would give him a good opportunity to really shine.
