Transfer Portal

I’m a Fairfield alum. Loved my time there. Wish the team there was good when I was in school. New arena on campus is gorgeous.
Fairfield is a great school for him. My sister-in-law graduated from there and a nephew is waiting to hear if a track scholarship opens up.

How does Michigan allow it to get that far to begin with? I mean he has been committed for more than a month and you have presumably had his transcripts for that long how in the world do you NOW decide you are not going to admit him?
Second time its happen in two years. Last year it was Terrence Shannon who wound up at conference rival Illinois.

That's right. But again you presumably are running these kids thru your admission dept already before they even verbal.

I thought before an "official" offer can come from the school the student had to be run through admissions first? At least that was my understanding for HS kids.

Yes it’s known as a very good school. Of course, they clearly got caught. No show credit is as bad as it gets. That’s pretty lazy cheating. Who knows if that has been shored up. They were never punished. They weren’t punished because, wait for it…no show classes broke no rules. Gotta love the N.C.A.A.

We laughed about this little scandal when it happened. If this were SJU lets say I am or was not confident of a similar shall we say outcome.
That no-show class scandal at UNC went all the way back to St. Dean, so of course the NCAA was going to sweep it under the rug...

Pretty sure he got assurances of what was probably his most pressing need after the last two years, minutes.
If Judah Mintz stays in the draft, Cuse will only have three “true” guards including Cuffe and all are new transfers (Starling from ND and Westry from Auburn) so the minutes are definitely there.

My point was not that Kyle won't get minutes; I'm sure he will. My point was that Syracuse as a program has become irrelevant.
