Transfer Portal

Interesting if he goes to Clemson in the ACC , he could play against Syracuse next season . I don’t know what their schedule is in the ACC but , its possible .

New normal as we know with Jones last year and Wusu next year. Just a couple years ago all of these conferences still banned transferring within your own conference.

Do you think a former poster could put in a good word for us?

He owes us for posting his astute observations only after wins or lengthy vacations.
I don't know if St John's has any interest and who their competition would be but this was one that I, as a Razorback fan, hoped would stay due to his perceived upside. He kinda got lost in the shuffle when Musselman signed 3 five star guards in the same class as Ford last year. I definitely would rather see him go to St Johns or somewhere else other than another SEC school. Penny Hardaway's Tigers are just up the road and they have a pretty good NIL game going and I expect the competition to be pretty fierce for this one.

Thanks! And my sarcasm was not meant for you. I had no idea you were also an Arkansas fan.

Wahab to Penn St. Will obviously need a waiver to play immediately which btw this is his 3rd transfer and he got a waiver last year. So if he were to get another waiver he might be the first to use his one time exception and then get 2 waivers....To recap Wahab:

Starts at Georgetown, transfers to Maryland (which he uses his 1 time immediate eligibility), then transfers back to Georgetown and gets a waiver based on the coaching change at Maryland (Mark Turgeon out/Kevin Willard in) now transferring again to PSU where he can no longer use the G-town coaching change as a viable reason for another waiver...

isn't that the case for us with Jenkins / Quinn/ Alleyne / and maybe Noah?

What do you mean?

2 waivers? Who?

They would all need grad transfer waivers which is pretty pro-forma. But I am not aware of anyone of them already having used both their 1 time transfer exception AND also a waiver and now needing a SECOND waiver...Which one is that?

Wahab is transferring for the 3rd time in 3 years. He used his one time exception and then needed a waiver last year. And will need another waiver this year and he is not even a grad transfer yet...LOL

Noah Notes:
-He has not made a decision yet
-He's going to wait until he takes all of his visits
-Mentioned it's not ideal to go to school in a big city with a big football program.
-All ACC schools have reached out
-Oregon reached out last week. Said the only way he would open up his top 5 is if Coach K comes out of retirement.

It seems to me (not surprisingly) that $ could play a big factor.
