Dinkins, just seeing this. I guess this rumor may have some truth. Wow, that’s unfortunate. I’m sure it’s a complicated story but never imagine Wusu doing something like that,

But if true and he was told not to return, isn’t that a red flag for seton hall?
I’m sure that would be a red flag for most teams. I have no idea if it’s true or not. I just have a good friend who is keyed into SHU and as soon as RP was hired he said Posh and Wusu were going to the Hall. I assumed he was winding me up but maybe the rumor had legs.

More importantly, I hope Wusu didn’t attack anyone. I’d really like him to stay the guy who came to St John’s as a package and worked his way to lunch pail starter.

Paultz speculated seton hall which would kill me
So just SHU and no one else, sounds odd but ok, and wusu visited there?

They might both go there.

I'm stating this right now, and I don't care that they were here for 3 years. If they go there then they become an enemy my eyes, I'll wish them luck alright, bad luck, and hope that we kick their asses.

Don't know about anyone else on here, but I'll despise them.

Posh was a good defender one year. Hasn’t been impressive in any facet of the game since.
Hasn’t what now?

As a sophomore Posh was 12th in the BE in scoring. Of the top 20 scorers, he had the 5th BEST fg%.

That same year he was 2nd in the BE in assists with the BEST assist to turnover ratio in the league.

Last year was outlier for Posh, staff gambled on Curbelo experiment adversely effecting team chemistry. Additionally PA made a lot of good plays in two man game with Julian in time together. To my disappointment, David Jones did not fill the void, opting to shoot too often with questionable shot selection. Posh was a real positive his first two years, but yes not a shooter. Imo you don’t go from lauded player by opponents in year two to expendable after sub par junior season. The terrible half court offense did not help anyone including Posh.

I liked his grit and will miss him, but time to move on. Too often we get a new kid who is crowned a savior while kids who move on are negatively viewed. To me P.A. was a warrior most of his time here & a positive.

Well said. I don’t view this as the binary issue it has become for some. No reason you can’t like P.A. and want him back, on the one hand, and understand it is fine for RP to shape the roster how he sees fit.

Could not agree more..Posh gave it his all was he perfect no not by any means but he was a big east level guard without a doubt and can be a positive on any team depending on role and fit.

Overall, Posh was solid for us. He's a tough-nosed NYC point guard - we need more guys like that. The Curbelo experiment was a disaster, and it impacted Posh more than anyone else. Our view of him is clouded a bit by that since the season was such a disappointment.

To be fair, some of us got a little carried away after Posh's very good freshman year. I remember a thread which asked whether we'd rather have Posh or Shamorie Ponds - which was a little ridiculous, and unfair to both players.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat, and I'd hate it if he ended up at Seton Hall.

Up to him, but if he goes in conf then to me he didn't really care much for SJU. Could be wrong but that's how I see it.

Atleast Storr went out of conf so no ill feelings toward him.

But he and wusu didn't go to SHU yet so I won't say much.
