I suspect that Posh wants to be "the man" wherever he goes. He may come to learn that may only happen at a mid major or lower.On a talented high D1 roster, he may have to earn his minutes. Still hope he comes back. Think it would be a win-win

I don't know if that is his mindset but I think he realized that his role and minutes were not guaranteed by Pitino and like a true baller he wants to be out there every minute.
However, Posh is not built like the guards Pitino envisions directing his offense. He held on to the ball too long and was not an efficient shooter. Both he and Wusu had a tendency to drive into the defense when they could have set up a shooter. I'm not sure if that was part of a poorly designed offense by Anderson or overconfidence in their own scoring ability. Wusu, however, was a good outside shooter while Posh was below average this past season.

If Posh returns he will have to fight for minutes against what will be taller and quicker guards with scoring ability.
I don't think being a 6th man is one he would accept at St. John's but maybe at another high major.
He would definitely be a starter at most mid-major programs because he is a talented player.

I think that the reason that we haven't heard anything is because he is playing an elaborate game of poker. He wants to see all the others hands before he make his moves. He didn't become a HOF coach by not having smarts.

Dinkins, just seeing this. I guess this rumor may have some truth. Wow, that’s unfortunate. I’m sure it’s a complicated story but never imagine Wusu doing something like that,

But if true and he was told not to return, isn’t that a red flag for seton hall?

Per a reliable source, I'm sensing it's true. That's why he I'm assuming he wasn't able to return.

Hope that's not true.
Kid was one of my favorite Johnnie's of the CMA era, but, if it is, he's a puppy---plenty of time to be 'redeemed', in my view.
I wasn't exactly 'together' back then, lol
Anyway, I wish him the best.
