Transfer Portal Mania

Have no clue if he's legit option, and haven't watched Rutgers in a long time. Would Omoruyi be an upgrade from Soriano (when not on this slump)

Looking at stats alone, seems like ok piece but necessarily someone who will dominate

If you meant to say "someone who will NOT dominate ", I agree.
I've watched a few of his games and in person and I did not see him changing the outcome of any games for Rutgers, let alone dominate. Think a taller Chris Obekpa with the same limited offense.
I would not pass on him but I certainly wouldn't break the bank for him.

So 6 pages in... we have have mentions of Holmes...Cliff...and Pope...

Sju79's reputable stamp that Dingle won't be back...

All I know is that I better start seeing some good info on this thread in two weeks time... otherwise not sure what I'm paying you guys for....

But to be fair if he’s a potential piece of a puzzle a much bigger piece where he might not even be your 3rd option scoring but he fills a piece just Rick looks for in a 5 and you have a good chance of getting the other pieces you pay up

So you mean he's similar to guys like Gorgui Dieng, Terrence Jennings, and Mangok Mathiang that were at the back of Pitino's Louisville defenses that ranked top 5 nationally? I think I'd break the bank for a guy like that

Is a certain guard that played with Soriano in hs a realistic target for next season?

I have zero inside information. But he's going to be 23 years old next year, shorter than Jalen Brunson, and appearing in exactly zero mock drafts in March.

Why not spend one extra year at home in MSG with an all-time great coach, and probably make a couple million?

You're not asking a stupid question.

IIRC, one of his parents wanted him to get his UNC degree which I assume he will accomplish in May. While I would take him in a heartbeat, I am sure he is quite comfortable at his present location and like Bacot this year, will receive a nice package to stay.

By the way, I watch another short former UNC PG who was a starter on their last championship, Joel Berry. He is a very good studio analyst on the ACC network.

lets hope not
my thought that i didn't wanna type... I don't wanna think im Boujee enough to hold my nose up at a career 8/5 guy from Ohio St... but I guessss... if he's our... 8th guy in the rotation?... we could be in worse spots...

Who am i kidding... by September I'll convince myself he'll be 2nd team All-BE and a lynchpin of a future Final 4 team...
