Crazy on the wallet, but not a crazy thought in my mind. But I'm possibly crazy. So a Zuby, Cliff, and Booker three-headed monster is a not crazy thought.

I hope this doesn’t end in a bad case of blue ballsThey will sort of get their wish. He will indeed be spending one more year in college.
I'm married, so it's not like that would be a new thing for me.I hope this doesn’t end in a bad case of blue balls
Matt’s assistant readySo seeing some price tags thrown around out there (not here... out there) - A Stud player can command anywhere from 600-1mm it seems....potentially more that 1mm... think there are prob only a literal handful of those...
So if we were to snag 3 Studs... totaling 2-2.5mm.... you guys think can we afford all the guys that can stay? (Luis/Glen/Zuby/Wilcher/Dunlap)
Nice... so yes lol
A lot of poker going to be played between schools and handlersGood negotiating tactic
The money will be there for next year. But I assume we will need to win big for it to continue to be there. So seeing some price tags thrown around out there (not here... out there) - A Stud player can command anywhere from 600-1mm it seems....potentially more that 1mm... think there are prob only a literal handful of those...

Leveragelol... pursuing a Pro career doesn't rule out College anymore hah
Offensively he’s not really a guy you throw the ball to on the block with his back to the basket and let him score or create from there but he has elite strength and athleticism which makes him a good putbacks and lob option. He’s a great offensive rebounder and gets fouled a good amount too. Joel is more refined but Cliff is stronger and more athleticHave no clue if he's legit option, and haven't watched Rutgers in a long time. Would Omoruyi be an upgrade from Soriano (when not on this slump)
Looking at stats alone, seems like ok piece but necessarily someone who will dominate

He's the perfect guy for Pitino's system because he's a disciplined defender who'll get blocks and not get in foul trouble. Also a reliable lob threat.Have no clue if he's legit option, and haven't watched Rutgers in a long time. Would Omoruyi be an upgrade from Soriano (when not on this slump)

Is there a deadline for kids to enter the portal? So, at least the coaching staff won't have to guess who's coming back and have to scramble for a position player if they decide to leave at the last second.Tricky stuff;
Re-recruit guys you want to stick around
Help guys who will petition NCAA for additional year like Ivy folks
Aggressively pursue a few whales and great fit kids like those noted in this thread
Do all this through prism of NIL funds available
Realize these are moving pieces that can change quickly and a few bird in hand situations will arise.
The $ is there to really compete for players thankfully. Rick is at the helm with Matt, but this is a challenging matrix. Imo, we will kill it and have a solid roster to really make hay next year.
As I understand it, 2024 transfer portal cycle begins Monday, March 18 will kick off a 45-day window for players to enter the transfer portal. This will be the last cycle impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Is there a deadline for kids to enter the portal?
