First off no one has a comparable record to Norm. Is MA a good coach? From afar I would say yes. He did a bad job last year.
My standards are low. Get me into tournament every couple years. He has not done that so far and to get us back o topic if he doesn’t get a couple quality kids in the portal I don’t believe we are a tourney team this year.

David Jones is a double-double kid who can have huge games and also makes his free throws. Hard to think of a better addition at this point to help us score inside.

I understand the eagerness to attract a “pure” three point shooter. With that said, we’ve seen the downside of three point “specialists,” e.g., Bourgault, Max Hooper. As we have two open scholarships, it sounds like we are not limited to one or the other. Nevertheless, I would think that a David Jones (well-rounded) type talent would provide significantly more upside than a three point specialist.

Jones pattern seems quite similar and one wonders if SJ strikes gold in next several days.
