Jones would be a phenomenal addition. Fingers crossed.
As Clark Kellogg likes to say: he is a stat sheet stuffer. Besides scoring, he can rebound and gets a lot of steals. Could see him thrive in CMA's style of play

We need basketball players. Talent. Guys who aren’t scared of the moment. He’s perfect. We’ll shout the ball just fine.
Especially if we’re right open. It’s like people forgot how well we pass the ball and create easy opportunities.

For some reason I saw them play about 7 times last year. 3 times against us and I think I saw him get a triple double vs Gtown or UConn. He didn’t play great every time I saw him but every time I watched him I remember thinking I liked his game. Kind of reminds me of Thaddeus Young.
Now we are St John’s so he probably won’t come and if he does he may not do well and some of you are giving way too much credit to Mike Anderson. Seriously he did a horrendous job last year. But no matter how turns out Jones would be a huge get.
Well, no matter what anyone thinks about Anderson's coaching job last season, he was Big East Coach Of The Year for a reason just 1 year before. He's a proven winner at various levels throughout his career. I don't think it's too much to think that with the roster continuity we have in addition to landing 2 high level talents in Curbelo and possibly Jones, Anderson will do what he's done time and time and the past and win games and give us a tournament team. Whether we go beyond that is a different question, but I think Anderson is getting exactly the credit he deserves as someone who can get us where we want to be, the tournament again.
Not that complicated. Nothing else to add to this one.
