Transfer Portal 2022

I have always been a proponent of the free transfer. But these kids playing for 3 or even 4 schools in 4 or 5 years is absurd to me.

Slowly becoming another version of “professional” basketball. Either I don’t know or understand the “rules” anymore. Not sure which it is.

Again, it's never gonna be what it once was but once we clear out all of the COVID related free transfers, waivers and other anomalies it'll settle down quite a bit. I would imagine in a few years almost everyone will transfer once but few will transfer more than that. Of course I am assuming that the NCAA gets a bit more serious about waivers after we get out of the COVID fog.

I don’t love conference transfers but some just make a ton of sense. We have a huge void he fills. He was born in the DR and NYC has the biggest Dominican population in the country. He knows Curbelo from the FIBA under 18’s and I’m sure Soriano is all over him

It’s a no brainer. I’d take him in a heartbeat. It would be an enormous pickup.
