I will be happy with a /500 record next season. I have a feeling the 2016 class will be top notch.

.500 next season may require a minor miracle without a few more players who can contribute immediately.

I'm just looking forward to Sima taking lumps early so when we do get big-time guards in here he is ready to run with them. I feel good about Williams, though. Need to bring in some eligible transfers who can give double digits at SG and F.

I'm good with whatever happens next year. The next year or two we'll have some bumps in the road.
In the long run I predict that everyone will be more then thrilled with our product that is put on the floor.

Mullin will deal with what he was left from Lavin. Obekpa, Jordan, and Amir.
So bitch and whine about Steve. It's not Mullins fault that he was left so little to work with.

Told this story before but worth repeating. Was the ball boy for the Staten Island Stallions in the USBL when I was a kid. Goodwin was on the team from NJ I believe and he was not really getting any PT. I had the visitors bench and talked his ear off all game about ST John's. He was a really nice guy and told some great stories.

Even with losing Sampson, as it stands right now we are way, way, way ahead of the game. And the best is yet to come!

Hot Rod Williams was on the team before he went to Summer league with the Cavs. Kevin Williams was the best player in the league averaged 30. Was the opposite of Billy Goodwin in personality though. Guy named Jumping Joe Ward from Georgia was on the team and real fun to watch. Never made the pros.

BTW TV did not do those bumps on The Animal's face justice. WHOA

richard, let see where sju is at in 3 years. Yeah, it would be great to have something to look forward to next year, but i won't worry about it.

I'm not giving up on next season until Diallo picks someone else. Not many teams in the Big East have 3 players as good as Sheed, Obepka and Dialllo. I know the first 2 guys have a lot to prove but I think they'll be highly motivated and Chris can get them to play up to their potential.

We obviously still need scoring badly but there are guys who could still help us; Durant Johnson, Lovett, Mussini, etc.

We might just have to play a different style and win low scoring defensive games like Pitt, SD St and Lousiville do year after year.

I have complete faith in this staff. I think that when all is said and done that we will have a competitive team next year. An NCAA bubble team.
