THIS Season (formerly Next Season)

I believe a big difference between this team and Lavin's first recruiting class, is that on paper, the current squad seems to have more shooters from the outside. .

Also, this year's team will not be coached by a moron.

Agree with you about we have better shooters......Moron I do not

One very important question for next season is will we see Mike Maher at CA for the first time this decade?

I think he will be tempted to brave the sauna like atmosphere of the upper section of the arena to see the new look Johnnies.

Haa. Not sure. Depends if I ever come back from South America. I seriously think I need to retire and buy a hotel down here in Huacachina.

This oasis in the desert stuff the last couple of days has me seriously less stressed and sleeping easier. I don't want to leave and all the restaurants play bob marley

wow looks spectacular. Might look into this for my honeymoon in all seriousness haha

if you are ever looking for travel ideas let me know

You could have been a little nicer by posting "Happy Birthday, moron!" in the other thread.

@Joshua_Newman: A loyal reader tipped me off that the Athlon college hoops preview magazine is out, so I went ahead and scooped that up........

@Joshua_Newman: Seton Hall picked eighth in the Big East, St. John's 10 (last) in the Big East, Rutgers picked 14th (last) in the Big Ten.

Athlon's pre-season top 25 includes 2 Big East teams
Villanova #10 and Butler #20

BE schedule out later today.

Wow. The Big East is usually the last conference to announce the schedule (since half of our teams play in NBA/NHL arenas, they are really powerless to put one together before those schedules come out). Looks like we actually beat the Pac 12 this year, FWIW (which is not much, I admit).

Five weekend Garden Games starting at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM or 12:30PM. I hate early games. Why is the Georgetown at the Garden Wednesday game starting at 6:30PM?? Is it a double header, and if so why are not we the second game?

Go to the composite Big East schedule on the conference website, and you will see that FS1 has a lot of 6:30/8:30 doubleheaders this year.

That is interesting. I do not remember seeing that in past years.

They tried it once I recall. Should just do 7 and 930

If you are watching on TV beats playing in the second game cause you usually miss most of the first half. Really should allow 2 1/2 hours between games. This is not 1970.
