Gentlemen: For the however manyeth time: We closed the Religion & Politics Forum. There are many other venues to go talk about that. This isn't one of them. Please stick to basketball. Some peripheral stuff (mostly but not entirely Maher's fault) we let slide because while off-topic and a bit distracting it is unlikely to derail the site entirely. That is not true of R&P topics, take them elsewhere please.

That is not how KenPom works. It would be cool to compare across different years, but the number is based on relative value in each season. There is a determined average and offensive and defensive efficiency is determined off that average to show the value, but every year the average changes so you cannot compare it.

What you can compare is the delta between the 1st and 2nd team to show how dominant they are though compared to their next best competition. This UConn team has a delta of +3.94. Going back to 1998, only more dominant teams 2018 Villanova (+4.23), 2011 Ohio St (+5.02), 2004 Duke (+4.03), 2002 Duke (+4.00), 2001 Duke (+4.45), and 1999 Duke (+11.35 - this number seems abnormally high).

Only 2 of those teams won championships - 2002 Duke and 2018 Villanova.

Angel is playing fantastic this evening.
Leading her team in every respect.
Got hurt and came back in hobbling a few minutes later. Much respect for the Bayou Barbie. Should be a fantastic second half.

Really enjoying this Women's game. Caitlin Clark is unstoppable, 31 of her teams 61 points so far. Reese and Johnson playing well for LSU. Clark has 31 pts and 8assts after 3 quarters.

About the only thing you could improve on Burns Jr is to increase his stamina .. Give him more minutes.

I’m not sure it would be wise to mess with his weight . As a BB player , he’s fine at this weight .
He has great Court vision and again ,, being a lefty who can play is a advantage in BB.

He have any eligibility left ?

It all flows down from parents and this in a position of authority to act civil, to be respectful and to avoid crassness.

Unfortunately, like Freaky Friday, it seems like incivility, lack of respect and crassness is the norm and not the exception in a large segment (too large) of our population.

Again, like Panther said if that was me, after my mother was finished with me, I would be hiding when my FDNY dad got home. Gee, I got a wallop for telling my sister Shut up.

Not saying I disagree in any way with much of it (after all, I'm an Olds too), but the world changes. Some ways for the better, some for the worse. Important to recognize both.

Yes your posts are being graveyarded.

Yes you are being assigned points for violations of site rules.

Yes when you accumulate enough points you will find that you are no longer able to post.

It does not matter which side of any issue you're on. Stick to basketball, and preferably the topic of the thread (you won't get banned for failing to do that, that one is just a personal request from your friendly neighborhood moderators).

Not sure why this is apparently so difficult for some of you.
