Syracuse

oh man i am soo happy. a Jet win tomorrow will make it a perfect weekend

Agree! Would make it a nice weekend.[/quote

Tony, I've been a Jets fan going back to the NY Titans ... but I don't need anything, let alone an improbable Jets win, to make this a nice weekend. It's already and officially great weekend.

Gentlemen - I shall now relax with a glass of bourbon. Here's to my alma mater and feeling really good tonight. Cheers!

The important question is what kind of bourbon?
Angels Envy. Very smooth, like PG IV's shot tonight

For whatever reason I haven't tried it yet. All I have at my dad's house is Willets Rye, that will do.

Yes - awesome win and I love the stats. I think a big difference in this years team is that Obekpa and Dom have to perform so they are engaged the whole game. Last year I thought at times they were trying to figure out their roles. The stats are awesome - only stat I don't like is Jordan's TOs. If he finds his role in this team, which is a major role or even the role, than this team could be real dangerous.
Let's take it one game at a time and let's keep this rolling. No let up now,

Saw bourbon and had to jump in; I am enjoying a nice glass of Blanton's, and it never tasted better.

I'm over-indulging on red wine swill, but drinking it out of a Tiffany glass. Hasn't tasted this good in ages.

Good idea. I'm going to cap it off with a glass of SJU Red Wine-Williams Selyem Pinot Noir

The Willets is a very good rye. Give the Angels a shot. As mentioned, it is very smooth.

Remember the Bootsy Thornton (42pnt?) game, ot loss against Duke at MSG?

I'll predict a 32pnts game for Green, hitting 7 3s at Syracuse.
Will be his finist moment in the SJU uniform.
SJU 82 Cuse 71

This game on Saturday, Dec. 6th, ignites the whole team, and everyone including the bench players picks up their game, and we don't lose again until sometime in February.
This game could give us the spark that we need.

OldSchool Redmen,

First off, since no one else said it, welcome to the chaos & mayhem that is Redmen.com.

Second, I like the optimism of your debut.

Third, so we can get to know you better, please tell us where you stand on:

1) Lavin’s sense of fashion. His wife (hot or not?). His recruiting record, his Xs & O’s, his use of time-outs, benching players, etc.
2) CA: dimly lit dump or glorious throw-back?
3) Our fans: passionate, loyal and knowledgable, or crusty old goats who like to backstab and contradict each other?
4) MSG: should we play there? Are MSG and NYC really effective recruiting tools?
5) Keady: valuable mentor or only here for an easy buck?
6) All-time favorite Redman?

None of the above will be used against you, we promise.

I am kidding of course. I sincerely hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.

See I was right about Phil, not sure if he hit 7 3s, but he shined in the clutch.
I predicted they'd win by 11, well I was one off as they won by 12.
Finally I predicted gthat this gamewill spark this team, well stay tuned for that.

Great win kids. Now onto FDU on wednesday.

Images from the victory

Thanks. Great shots, although I don't know which one I like the best: the guys on our bench jumping for joy, or old JB looking like he's in the ninth circle of hell ... probably the latter.

I hope we can just get something out of either Jones, Albagovic, Joey or Adonis. We need one more big to give us some type of quality time for 4 - 6 minutes a game.
did jones even get off the bench today?

Great win at the Carrier Dome!! I am most happy for Harrison, he truly deserves this day in the sun. Also impressed that Obekpa was a force throughout and was never in any real foul trouble. Love the thought of the Cuse fans going home with their tails between their legs!!

He will get plenty of time next year. These seniors play better with more minutes

I liked the way they were ready to start a fight after the Jordan foul - That showed toughness.
We need to be mean and "greene" lol

After polishing off a bottle of my favorite red, I bought a bottle from my neighbor. Question: Since when have they started putting corks in wine bottles, and how do I get them out? ... Oh, it's a good night!
