This game is out of control and it's now officially over for us. We are just not good enough on the offensive end. We don't shoot the ball with any consistency.

My aplolgies, I thought your response was to me and I have never been anything but respectful to everyone on this board. People shouldn't attack other people when hiding behind a keyboard.

So all it took for SJU to win at Syracuse was for them to leave the BE. Now I wish they would have left a decade ago.

Hopefully recruits were watching as well.
 
All kudos to Greene obviously. Big shots; we still play like a playground/AAU team but obviously hanging much tougher on D down the stretch. Credit to the team and it has to feel real good to these guys. Ugly but not nearly as ugly when you win. We need to have Pointer sit on the line against a zone; his decision making is generally pretty good and he does not force things. Legitimate D by Obepka on Christmas also. Not a vintage Cuse team but just a real good win nonetheless; it's not like they are chopped liver either. Cite Harrison's D on Cooney also; did not let him get looks at all.

Pretty good? Pointer won this game like he almost won the zags game. He is an excellent decision maker and passer. He penetrates the zone just enough and feeds the hot hand. Kudos to this team for keeping composure and breaking the streak.

I hope we can just get something out of either Jones, Albagovic, Joey or Adonis. We need one more big to give us some type of quality time for 4 - 6 minutes a game.

Saw bourbon and had to jump in; I am enjoying a nice glass of Blanton's, and it never tasted better.

I always add 1/2 hr. of extra time when I record.

You have to add at least an hour, especially if there is a game before ours. Damn it, they always run over.
 
Great Free Throw Shooting: 20-25
Great Three-Point Shooting: 9-16
Only 10 turnovers.
Only 16 personal fouls
Only being out-rebounded by 2 despite Syracuse's height advantage.

SJU had lots of good looking shots on offense. So good game plan (by coaches) and execution (by players).
There weren't too many forced possessions.

Greene - the obvious super clutch shooting.
Harrison - great shooting the whole game.
Obkepa - a monster on the boards with 16 boards, and 4 blocks
Pointer - 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks along with 9 points and 5-6 from Free-throw line.

Good all around game.
 
Great win at the Dome !!  No one should underestimate the importance of this win come March since the Big East will be a killer this season. Kudos to coach Lavin for tightening the lineup to keep the vets focused.  Still perplexed with progress of both Balamou and Jones but that is another subject. This a Syracuse team that was ranked two weeks ago and will do damage in the ACC.  Special congrats to Chris Obekpa who was a presence inside and did not foul needlessly.  Happy for all of us long suffering fans who have had to take crap from Orange fans these past few years.

I added an extra half hour but ESPN screwed me because they changed the schedule on the fly and I only got 15 minutes. ESPN sucks. I have never liked them. They are not "dedicated fan friendly". They do not understand "die hards". They are a typical news organization. Nothing special.
