This is on the coaching staff. You can get defensive guys out of the way by putting bodies between them.
You all want to blame someone on the court, to me, it's simple. You have a guy scoring at will and he stops getting the ball. That's your ballgame right there. Get guys like Sampson and Garrett or Obekpa between Harrison and Bell. If Bell can get through 3 of our guys without switching off with another defender...then KUDOS to him.
For those of you crapping on Greene, he hit some big shots at the end of regulation which, if things went a little differently, you'd be singing a different tune about him.
Give me ONE reason to be optimistic. I can't stand people who are optimistic for the sake of being optimistic. I am from the realist crowd. Give me reasons to celebrate and believe me I'll be the first one doing so. Give me reasons to want to throw my remote as hard as a Garrett fastball, and I will not give some fake facade as if we are good. The cold hard truth is we are in the basement of the Big East. Not bottom tier, not middle, not upper middle, not top 3, THE BASEMENT. We will still win 1 or 2 games we aren't supposed to, but it will be too late anyway after Cincy and G'Town eat us for dessert. To lose back to back to the same team in OT with Harrison scoring what 36? It's just garbage. Garrett's inexcusable 3 pt foul was the sword to the chest moment for us. We win that game if he doesn't make such a stupid foul. This must look fantastic to Jordan and Lawrence sitting at home. I think it's time to raise the possibility that SJ is just a cursed, snake-bitten team for years now. Throw them in the same pile as the Islanders, Mets, and the Jets. Amazing how with so much talent we are so pathetic and can't ever shut the lid on a team no matter how bad they are.
Bring on the "you are so negative", "stfu", "get off the board", "then stop being a fan", etc. comments, but you know I am correct deep down. I want this team to be great just as bad as the rest of you, but the results do not pan out for us. I wish we could play our own defense so we could score at will like anyone else in the country.

He got 15 and 9 and we are suppose to be grateful? He was a top 100 recruit. He suppose to get 15 and 9. He played well, we need that from Amir all the time. How about he exhibits a little more discipline on defense? It's not just him, it's the whole team. All they do is reach and lunge and leave their feet unessarily. That's on the staff.
I'm sorry, but the hate on Greene is misplaced. The spacing was awful...Greene was getting pissed at his guys all night for bunching up. These guys look so lost on offense. Nobody knows there role right now. The only threat to score inside is a 6'6 SF, Garrett.
More than once Branch walked his man to Greene when Greene had a big man matched on him...just get out of the way and make yourself a threat to shoot if your man leaves you.
Greene isn't a true PG, but it doesn't look like Branch is either. That's not to say these guys can't both be very good, but we do not have a true point guard on this roster and that is very clear.

So first I'm a jackass(called me that twice) and now I'm a clown that can't ball... I am thoroughly offended. I can tell that you "grew up in the hood" because instead of formulating a decent argument, you spew out defamatory remarks and have bad grammar. It's "were" not "where." Where denotes a position or placement.
Just because Greene "got a BE scholarship" doesn't mean he can ball. He is a position-less player. Can't play the 2 and certainly can't play point. Keep watching him zig-zagging around the court mindlessly with his dribble and defending him with little class or honor.

well i don't know about that. the administration will give him a pass last year because of cancer. but the fanbase wouldn't though. i didn't understand the martin hire. not really known for his x and o's. dunlap should be rehired if he is let go from charlotte.
I can't nor will I make you optimistic. That has to come from within. No reason to call folks out because you're miserable. That is like trying to steal someone's glory. There really isn't anything to be optimisitic about at the moment (it's not looking too hot right now), but I'd rather be in the presence of an optimistic person versus a pessimistic person all day long.
If you feel we're not gonna be any good the remainder of the season, and feel you have to spew your cobra-like venom at every, single turn, then maybe you should move on from the board the remainder of the season.
