Smith Injury

He got hit a bunch. Almost looked like PC was targeting the shoulder. He fell in front of the scorers table and grabbed his shoulder then in the 2nd half he took a hard screen right into the shoulder...was tough to watch. Looked rusty shooting, 1-10, lots of stuff short also. Gotta get his sea legs under him I'm sure

PC 100% targeted his shoulder. I'm happy the refs reviewed that offensive foul/moving screen (even if it wasn't ultimately called a flagrant). I'd rather Smith work out the kinks today than in three days

They were. One moving screen/shove had me worried, but he popped right back up. It was Cobra Kai level targeting.

Risk is correct about Smitty needing game playing time to get his game going after injury. He really came alive in the second half especially after Kam Jones took him out on a drive. While his shooting is down, his rebounding is back.

Uconn better not hope for the St. Liam to be the savior as he has been out longer and had no game prep.

Hilarious How many times did Rick reenter? lol
