Was that right after the game with Donny? I believe he was talking about Glover when he said that.Interesting comment from Pitino about smith. Said he can’t go to his left and is not a true pg.

Me too. I'm sure Glover not Devon!!!Was that right after the game with Donny? I believe he was talking about Glover when he said that.
Anyone who wants the Smith back that played in the Seton Hall game is nuts.Keep him out until he’s near 100%. Need him down the stretch this season for tourney. Be nice to get both Smith and Dunlap back for second half of season somewhere.
He said it at the press conference. The question was clearly about Deivon Smith, but Pitino initially referred to “Jaiden.” Given the context and the entirety of the response I assumed that Pitino was referring to Smith but got the names confused. Was that right after the game with Donny? I believe he was talking about Glover when he said that.
Bingo, Gene.I think the posts were about how important he is to this team and the importance of getting him back ASAP. If there was any negativity it was directed at the staff for playing him against Seton Hall. None of it was directed at Smith. A warrior like him is always going to want to play. It’s ip to the staff to save the player from himself in a situation like that. But, absolutely no one is down on Smith.
Pitino estimated that his chances of playing Saturday against Providence are between 60 percent and 70 percent.
“He’s ready to play. He’s just psychologically afraid to get hit,” Pitino said. “He’s physically ready to play. We’ve erred on the side of caution.”
Dr. J couldn’t go to his left either. Not comparing the two (you can’t) but just saying and throwing it out there.Interesting comment from Pitino about smith. Said he can’t go to his left and is not a true pg.
Didn't NEED to go to his left.Dr. J couldn’t go to his left either. Not comparing the two (you can’t) but just saying and throwing it out there.
Just weird that Pitino said he isn’t a pg, particularly since the kid is 6’0 and has aspirations to play in the league.Dr. J couldn’t go to his left either. Not comparing the two (you can’t) but just saying and throwing it out there.
That’s exactly why I wonder if he wasn’t talking about frosh Glover notwithstanding the question.Just weird that Pitino said he isn’t a pg, particularly since the kid is 6’0 and has aspirations to play in the league.

I saw the interview and he was talking about Glover. Was that right after the game with Donny? I believe he was talking about Glover when he said that.
I’d say it’s ambiguous at best. He was asked point blank about smith not glover.I saw the interview and he was talking about Glover.
It was about Glover. Was that right after the game with Donny? I believe he was talking about Glover when he said that.
Why would Pitino talk about Glover when asked about Smith and then continue on about Smith in the same breath. Do you know something I don’t?It was about Glover.
He was referring to Jaiden Glover at that pointInteresting comment from Pitino about smith. Said he can’t go to his left and is not a true pg.
He referenced Glover because he was filling in while Smith is outWhy would Pitino talk about Glover when asked about Smith and then continue on about Smith in the same breath. Do you know something I don’t?
