I truly believe that he recognized this as an opportunity to deliver a message to all potential recruits that he recognizes and supports the "NBA dream"...Whether Mo stays or goes, there was a potentiak upside

For all the "doubters" and second-guessers etc. - and absolutely everyone is entitled to a personal attitude/approach/viewpoint - what more could Coach Lavin have given us in his first two years after inheriting a program that had stagnated for a decade?

He will definitely lose some recruits and lose some games, but will enable St. John's to gather in a top 20 share!

a great staff, terrific publicity and attraction, donors again willing to $$, top recruits having us in the mix with the UConns and all, a spirited style of play…we no longer have to beg kids to consider us...

Ditto. I guess some people do not know he can't talk about unsigned recruits or they are just silly and believe he'll mention the names of unsigned recruits via Twitter.

 Have not heard woods name in a bit but then again I didn't hear even a whisper about obepka!! If we sign op Sanchez and Marco we are in good shape and for what it's worth, hall to johnnies is for real just a matter if he gets the grade!! If not morris is next in line.....
