@SJUCoachLavin

"Out west" is a pretty big place. Was anyone on the plane with him so we can narrow down his destination? Anyone know how to track the GPS on his phone?

@STJCoachLavin

Tony Chiles back in NYC from his recruiting travel in South. Mike Dunlap out West. Will be relentless as we close 2012 class! Legit gems!

I'm interested who Dunlap is watching out west.

MJ, could it be Andrew Young or are we no longer interested?

I was thinking about Andrew Young. You read my mind, Jack. It could also be kids from the '13 and '14 classes.

Dunlap never gets anyone. Last year he recruited Europe-seen any Europeans on the team lately. :unsure:

Doesn't one of his kids go to college in Cali? If so, he could be going to visit him and not recruiting. Just a thought.

CIF Southern Section Quarterfinals were yesterday (California Interscholastic Federation) - Taft vs Bullard featured uncommitted 2012 Anthony January (6'7-6'8 wing)....Mater Dei also playing (can't be TOO early for Stanley Johnson)....

Taft was upset last night. January had 14 before fouling out.

Sacramento. Cali community college semi's. Parga and Walker lost to his son's team 71-69...Parga missed the winning shot on his way to ten points (five turnovers, 0-2 from three). State championship is going on now.

Maybe he was recruiting his son :)

Not if he saw his stats :)

He didn't get off the pine yesterday according to the box score. He averages less than two points per game, but it is for the #2 ranked JUCO in the country.

I wouldn't mind seeing him walk-on. As Dunlap's son I'm sure he's a good shooter. He has good shooting stats in his limited time: 4/11 from three (36.4%) and 75% from the line. Couldn't hurt to have a shooter around in practice.

Did anyone notice that Lavin's tweets didn't have that gung ho positive approach as it has had the past few days. Or am I just reading to deep into his remarks?

Does he get to go to school for free like a professors kid?

Yes. I believe all employees at St. John's can have their children attend for free. I think there is even some kind of co-op or exchange honored by few dozen schools in the area.

He'd never play here, but we do need some bodies. A 6'3 smart shooter could help in practice.
