We had offered Yetna.

Yenta is legit.

His hometown is Paris France.  HHe 6' 8"/ 235 pounds.  He played over 27 minutes per game for USF, averaging 7.3 rpg, and 9.5 ppg. .... Sigh him up.

He averaged 12.3 and 9.6 in 36 games in 2018-19. Disappeared for a year. Not sure if he was injured. This would certainly be intriguing if the dislike was for previous staff and not the school in general.

I tried to keep up with all the names listed on the previous pages, but lost interest.

I took a quick look at Verbal Commits and they list 634 transfers, with at least a month to go, the sky is the limit.

My top four guys are all big men.  I see SJU's biggest need as big men since the on, and it seems like ly returning big is Roberts.  Also SJU is always abused by the other team's big man. I know nothing about SJU's interest in these guys and vice versa.
Alexis Yetna 6-8, 234.  Transferring from South Florida
Aiden Igiehon 6-10, 245 lbs.  Transferring from Louisville  (lach of significant playing time this past season worries me)
Tre Mitchel 6-9 240, lbs.  Transferring from UMass (step up in competion worries me)
Mamoudou Diarra 6-9, 240 lbs.  Transferring from Cincinatti

The last name (Diarra) is just a vaguely familar name, I saw on the VC list.  Cincy's players always look enourmous to me, so I'm curious.+

Legacy, shmegacy. Hopefully there is a reverse dynamic and the sons of players who spurned SJU start coming here.

we probably have a better chance of kids if CMAs former players coming here

Was just checking the oregon box score and LJ is having a great game against Iowa.    While there though I noticed that a familiar name to us, Frank Kepnang, is barely playing,    Guessing a top 50 guy cant be happy only playing 6-8 minutes per game -   wonder if he will look to transfer and if we can hop back in on that.   Think I would rather have him over the kid from Louisville.

Kepnang joined the team in December.  Enrolled early so I think all is fine there.

I expect Kepnang is very happy to be playing with a team going to the sweet 16 in his first year. Has even scored a couple of baskets. He'll get plenty of burn next year.

Not sure where Moore lands, but if recent history tells us anything, you can bet that his new team will make a run in the tournament next year.

A recent TJ follow fwiw, grad transfer and maybe Rutherford type move;

Numbers look solid for a guard off the bench. Good A:to and steal numbers and his 3p shooting more than acceptable last two years. Front court is where we need the difference maker. Someone like this in the backcourt could work well but I’d prefer Blocker or another multi year player.

with Dunn and Cole gone we need someone who can score. We’re losing almost 30 points a game counting Moore
