I have also been a big fan of Kaluma BUT his production has not always matched what the eye test tells you. Reminds me in some ways of Justin Burrell or Jamorko Pickett - he LOOKS like he should do more than he actually does.

Would definitely be a solid pickup on the thought that Pitino could unlock the rest of the potential there.

If the lure of coach Pitino could not bring in the likes of Omier, Pryor, Cliff O and now perhaps Watkins, it would seem that we are not competitive on the financial end of things as 4s and 5s seem the most coveted positions.

The reality, and tough pill to swallow, may just be that Pitino or no Pitino, big money, Big Conferences, State Schools with large endowments (which is the reason UConn has a serious advantage in the Big East) will win all the time. Johnnies have lost players to Kentucky, Louisville and now perhaps Michigan, all with first year coaches and none with Coach Pitino’s acumen.
