My entire point (which is half tongue in cheek, half not, btw) is that I shouldn't have to prove whether or not he will, the person posting should have some proof that he IS, proof defined as more than being on a list with 25 other teams who also "heard from". He's a kid from Watts who played in a league well below Big East quality. Not exactly a great leap to think this is a nothingburger. We have a whole other thread for those guys. And if it turns out that he's Van Macon's cousin, or he shares an agent with one of our current players who's been hyping us up, or anything, by all means put him in the SJU Portal Targets thread. Not asking mods to do anything here. Just a little self policing. If you disagree, fine.
To answer your question, no I don't think we'll only go for big fish. I think the smaller fish will come later. And when they do and there's some verified interest, by all means let's discuss.
