Lowe plus Smith would be good. Or at this point one of them and Sim can be the second PG. I think he is solid enough on the ball and definitely unselfish enough to play the position.
This kid is a monster athlete. Raw but I’d love to get him to replace Zuby. Rick can turn this kid into a totalRivals staff writer for Georgia saying their center Somto Cyril is going to STJ.

Like Smith much better in backup role. If he is our starting PG it will not be a position of strength for us. He had a mediocre year for a mediocre team in a mediocre conference. Since he was out the year before due to injury there is the possibility his performance was affected and that he can play better but hope we do better for a starter if we want to win big.
Why would Smith come here to be a backup?
Didn’t say he would. It has been discussed as a possibility on this board.
I get it. Just doesn’t seem realistic at all to me.
Other factor is maybe Rick can coach him up and get better results than Anthony Grant could at Dayton. Not overly impressed with Grant’s acumen as a coach and I’ve watched him at my secondary root for teams Bama and Flyers save for the Covid year when he won 29 games but think that outlier was due more to Obi Toppin being able to dominate at that level.

Not that I want compensation even at the levels we have now, but can't blame any kid leveraging demand by entering the portal.
If Vince was in the portal from another University, we would be clamoring for him. It takes more time for Big Men to develop.
