After he leaves he tweets: it was only a April fools, I hope they wouldn't think that I'd actually think that I'd really committ to them.

They'd feel all humiliated 🤣

Who's replacing RJ and Scott, the Austrian kid? I also think as presently constituted, the front court needs a beast like Marillac's favorite Magoon Gwath. We don't know what Maker brings to the table but we do know what Vince brings to the table.

We don’t have to worry about Rick having to sell! Our campus compared to Athens night and day. Our environment compared to UConn completely different. A city that doesn’t sleep with 10 or more games in MSG. They have good ice cream at that farm big deal. A chance to fill KR’s role. Best player development coach of all time.

The numbers may not jump off the page with this kid, especially being in the WCC, but he seems to have some really good tools. Bouncy, athletic, long, and the shooting stroke looks good. Could see him being a decent Scott replacement if he bulks up a little bit (Scott did a great job bulking up before his season with us, he was very skinny on UNT)

Can we please put these in the other portal thread until SJU shows a level of interest past "clicked a box on the portal website asking if school was interested in the player, along with 25 other schools"? I'll literally take anything..a Trilly mention, a previous connection to one of our coaches, SJU79 kind words. Anything other than basically a digital form letter.

I agree, when I see a long list and it says showed interest to me that's either someone using our name for bargaining or we called and asked how much, said thanks and hung up.

If SJU is listed no matter how much someone feels its legit or not, they should be in this thread.

I mean half the posters keep dropping Watkins name in here because of their wet dreams yet he hasn't entered the portal ;)
