Kadarys agents didn’t want him to come to us and he still did.
Did anyone ask Trilly if the St. John's source is named Gene?
I find it interesting that a SJU source said they think UConn leads. Why would the other side admit to that and then allow Trilly to openly say “St. John’s source”?
Is it because they feel pretty good about getting him and want to make a heavy statement by getting a player that was heading to UConn?
Gamesmanship? I do not know. But I like it, if true.
Yeah, so much smoke & mirrors in this portal stuff w agents squeezing every dollar they can this period before new regs, rules kick in as expected. This is a wicked portal season for sure.

What i've heard is completely different. Now smart money would be on the Trilly guy..but I heard he wants here. His dad wants best offer. Best offer will be BYU. Uconn offer likely to be less then SJ. Agent has Uconn agenda( money close, nba ect...)... Also heard SJ is wary of reaching a certain number due to what other players are getting and not overall budget issues. Silas is NOT a kid I work with this is all from a good source however...
A kid i do work with has been mentioned here but not coming. SJ not looking at an undersized scoring first pg.
No idea of the TCU kids real interest but don't be quick to dismiss him..he's good

I dunno. BYU will be used as leverage in so many portal recruitments. And he didn't even visit before the dead period.
BYU is already allocating 7 million to AJ Dybantsa. Can't imagine their NIL Budget if they still have big figures to throw around. Crazy...

I kind of trust Matt, Coach and Repole to get this done if we are his preference subject to the legitimate concern of not overpaying vis a vis our other guys like Hopkins and Zuby. Will be interesting to say the least.

Their roster, though, has Saunders returning + AJ. Egor Demin's NBA jump may not happen. Plus, Hall should be thinking he would be their starting PG.
