Come on Silas bright lights of New York or cow tipping in the fields it’s a no brainer!
Seems to be pretty much a done deal here. Unless staff has a trick up their sleeve that nobody has thought of yet (which is entirely possible), luring Thornton into the portal and closing on him is imperative.
Just as a reminder SJU was a finalist for Dillon Mitchell of Texas, Kasean Pryor of USF, Jeremy Roach of Duke, Norchad Omier of Miami, Amari Williams of Drexel, Cliff Omoruyi of Rutgers among others. They all went elsewhere.
Even Aaron Scott was headed to Oklahoma if I remember correctly (I think everyone including Trilly had it before they all flipped like an hour later).
The transfer class turned out pretty good and I forgot, how did the year turn out?
They have 2 legit top 20 caliber transfers already.
Relax.
Bummed...Not me it happens.I think everyone is being pretty chill tbh just bummed that a player we would’ve liked appears to be headed to a main rival.
Confident we’ll be just fine.

Hate to break this to you UCONN among other programs including Kentucky are REALLY good. They are going to get their share of good players.
Love the quick, smooth release on his jump shot. Also keep your eyes out for Oziyah Sellers from Stanford, a very good wing shooter.
Like him as a backup PG, but have not heard of any SJ interestAnyone else really like Malachi smith? Played well vs good teams. Shoots well. Local kid.
Sounds like wake Forest wants him bad.

Evidently he loves it there and the money evidently is right. So to him, it makes sense.Makes no sense. We’ll find our guy at some point.
Great fan base.Evidently he loves it there and the money evidently is right. So to him, it makes sense.
Noticed that as well. It read more like a player profile (especially as it was heavy on the highlights his ranking in school history) than a news article. Not one quote from the player or the coach in the article.
Don’t forget: Coach found Daniss AND Clayton, Jr. for Iona. No worries. Do you think he’s in Italy just to drink cappuccino?Noticed that as well. It read more like a player profile (especially as it was heavy on the highlights his ranking in school history) than a news article.
