I dont think Dingle graduated. He was listed as a senior for us, unlike Ledlum listed as Graduate.
Perhaps Dingle has open door to go back to UPenn to finish his degree there.
The problems with him as a player have nothing to do with injuries or practice. He definitly is athletic. Definitely has a few skills. But he has a very low BB iq and is an athlete, not BB player. He’s selfish offensively, undisciplined, makes poor decisions, very turnover prone and not great defensively. Hes not a freshman. Hes been playing competitively for over a decade. He is what he is.
Yeah, he uses his athleticism to get some easy steals but his turnover ratio is probably poor. Hes the kind of recruit we used to have to settle for In the hope that the athlete would develop. We’ve had many. Only recent one who did was Earlington. But that’s because he was a hard worker and team guy. I have nothing again st the kid, but I’ve seen this movie before. If we can’t recruit better, then we’re in trouble. Again, his poor play (acknowledging he had some great moments) had nothing to go with injuries or practice time.
Idt RJ understood RPs system. Just sayin.
I want both back. It would suck to lose either one. We need some continuity.
Hopefully he can stay on the court better than Anunoby who's only been able to play full years in 3 out of his first 7 seasons.Dubar sounds like he is a college version of the Knicks’ OG. If he does the similar by spreading the floor due to the ability to hit outside shots, along with using his length to be a lockdown perimeter defender, then I am all in.

I want Luis back, but trust those making decisions if they don't to match the highest offer out there. Luis deserves to go for what he feels he is worth. However, it would be nice to have a core of kids here who want to be here and are willing to work within the limits of what we can offer monetarily.

There is no reason not to think RJ will become the next O'Mar Stanley or David Jones.
He has that level of ability. The question remains does he have the maturity and patience or does he just chase the shekels.

If I were a kid, I would never tell anyone I was leaving before last game of season was in the books. I wouldn't want to get benched in favor of players who are coming back, especially since I have a bank account to pad.
Spending 9 pages discussing portal when so far we have a 2% of those entering. Time to chill and wait as there must be better options out there that are still playing
